Why the Hunt Is Half the Fun

The best finds often begin with curiosity, a new shop, and no fixed shopping list.

Walking into a toy store without a fixed target creates room for surprise. The hunt becomes a way to notice unfamiliar designs, odd little details, and ideas that would never appear in a carefully filtered search result.

Curiosity before completion

Collecting can easily become a checklist. I prefer to leave space for objects that make me stop, look twice, and ask why they exist. A find does not need to complete a set to be interesting.

The story travels home

Where something was found often becomes part of why it matters. A small object from an unexpected shop can carry a stronger memory than something ordered in seconds.

That is why this project is as much about looking as buying. The hunt is where the questions begin.
